I've never used or heard of bytesized-hosting but looking at their site, you're heavily limited on number of transcodes unless you pay a lot of money each month. I moved from Synology to unRAID and haven't looked back, but I appreciate what Synology brings to the table too. Also most decent 4-bay Synology NAS's are capable of running docker containers and Plex. I wouldn't bother with the 4TB disks, just sell them and the old stuff for another 10TB drive or something.Īll that being said, pay heed to the other comments on this and make sure this really is the option you want. Transfer the rest of your data, then plug in you other 10TB drive. Once it's empty, unplug it and shove it into the Synology. Now move the rest of the data off that 10TB drive onto the Synology with the aim of emptying the 10TB drive entirely.

You can either mount an external share on the Synology or mount the Synology share on your unraid box to "connect" them, then use either Synology's file manager or unRAID's terminal to transfer files between them (Don't use your PC to manage the transfer or it'll take twice as long). Start by trying to get as much data OFF of your 10TB drive as you can (onto the 4TB drives), put the 8TB in the Synology and set up Synology hybrid RAID. However, you can do this one drive at a time and migrate your data bit by bit. When you plug a drive into your Synology, it'll have to wipe that drive before it can use it.

If you're expecting to just plug your drives in and have your data there, that's not gonig to work.

#Plex on unraid setup download
Any direct use of any of this dockers trough local IP:port won't use this tunnel, neither any communication of the server.Įxample if I have pointing to the deluge docker, using that URL I can access from outside my server LAN to the Web UI and that will be done trough the tunnel, but the deluge itself (also with a VPN) won't download or upload anything trough that tunnel. Can I just take my HDDs out of my unraid server and put them in to a Synology Enclosure? Adding this to a Dynamic IP, how you manage it with this tunnel?Īs far as my network voodoo let me understand, the tunnel will only manage the communication for an ingress trough the configured in CF and communicating to the NPM docker. Sorry to ask in this old question, but how are you using Plex?Īs far as I understand Plex still "need" to have a port forward. What are we using for NPM reverse proxy settings? # forward all traffic to Reverse Proxy w/ SSL The service may be down or it may not be responding to traffic from cloudflared: EOF" cfRay=65cdf4e4eaae0540-LAX originService= -Ĭredentials-file: /home/nonroot/.cloudflared/MYUUID.json The service may be down or it may not be responding to traffic from cloudflared: EOF" cfRay=65cd63b4a9859b00-DFW originService= ERR error="Unable to reach the origin service.
